Child Sexual Exploitation Training

The training uses a wide range of techniques including scenario setting, discussion groups, as well as games and activities. Our aim is to create a course that is both engaging and relevant to your practice.

This intensive training course provides Foster Carers with a clear understanding of what Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) is and the current laws around it.


The training programme focuses on:

What is child sexual exploitation

What is known about child sexual exploitation

How young people find themselves exploited 

What is known about perpetrators

Warning signs that suggest a young person may be involved or is at high risk of becoming exploited

Best practice in responding to concerns


Participants leave with the confidence to:

Recognise the warning signs 

Respond appropriately

Manage issues young people face every day, including ‘sexting’ and online targeting

Spot and address grooming patterns

Better identify young people who may be at risk

County Lines, Gangs & Young People

The training uses a wide range of techniques including scenario setting, discussion groups, as well as games and activities. Our aim is to create a course that is both engaging and relevant to your practice.

    This intensive training course provides Practitioners  with a clear understanding of what County Lines is and how they operate 

The training programme focuses on:
Identify the evolution of county lines, youth violence and gangs.
Recognise indicators and reasons young people get involved with county lines or gangs.

Participants leave with the confidence to:
Understand key terms and language.
Recognise early intervention opportunities.
Examine key aspects of gangs such as structure, and the impact of media.
Identify available support and resources for young people in your area.

Radicalisation Training

The training uses a wide range of techniques including scenario setting, discussion groups, as well as games and activities. Our aim is to create a course that is both engaging and relevant to your practice.

Radicalisation is a serious issue in the world today and it is a known fact that vulnerable and isolated young people are at a higher risk of being radicalised. 


It is important that practitioners have a general understanding of the radicalisation and the associated issues , as this is a significant part of their safeguarding role, protecting children and young people from all risks within society.


The training programme focuses on:

Exploring radicalisation and extremism.

Identify those people who may be vulnerable to radicalisation and why.

Explore how radicalisation happens, including the role of the internet.

Discuss the signs that may indicate that a young person is being radicalised

Identify strategies to prevent young people being radicalised.

Focus on the government strategy tackling radicalisation,PREVENT.Practitioners will know where to report their concerns of a young person becoming radicalised
